Bhavans's Day | ಭವನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ by Vid. Ramana Balachandar

Ganabharathi is celebrating 28^th Bhavan’s Day on 26^th oct 2018 at Veenesheshanna Bhavana at 5.30pm.  On this occasion ganabharathi takes pleasure in felicitating the Art patron Sri K V Murthy and a Veena concert by Vid Ramana Balachandra accompanied by Vid A Radhesh on Mridanga and Vid M R Manjunatha on ghata is also organized on the same same day.

Sri K V Murthy: Having born to Smt K Bhagirathi and Kuskoor Krishnamurthy Sri K V Murthy is a Well known name in the circles of music and dance for having nurtured numerous organizations and music sabhas . Being an engineer and a industrialist he has a great concern for the field of art, which he has proved by being instrumental in encouraging and bringing up numerous music sabhas in mysore. 

Vid Ramana Balachandar:  Ramana Balachandhran is a 16 year old Vainika from Bangalore. His talent for music was noticed when at a young age he could identify ragas and point out nuances. He has been performing from the age of 12. He started his Vocal training with his mother Sharanya Balachandhran. He then pursued Veena under Vidushi B Nagalakshmi (granddaughter of Karaikudi Sri Subbarama Iyer) for a period of 3 years and continues

under his father Sri Balachandhran. He currently learns Vocal from Sangita Kala Acharya, Smt Neela Ramgopal and Mridangam from Laya Kala Pratibha Mani, Sri Ranganatha Chakravarthy.

Ramana has performed over two hundred and fifty solo Veena concerts in many of the leading sabhas in andaway from the country. He has also been the youngest Vainika to have performed on many of those stages. He is a recipient  of CCRT National Level Scholarship,  He has got numerous awards to his credit, to mention a few

ಗಾನಭಾರತೀ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 26ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 5:30ಕ್ಕೆ ಭವನದ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾಪೋಷಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ ವಿ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸನ್ಮಾನದ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಯುವ ಕಲಾವಿದ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ರಮಣ ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರ ಅವರಿಂದ ವೀಣಾವಾದನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮೃದಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ಎ ರಾಧೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ಎಂ ಆರ್ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಘಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಮಣ ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರ: ಹದಿನಾರರ ಹರೆಯದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಮಣ ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರ ಬಾಲಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೆಯ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಕಛೇರಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಾಯಿ ಶರಣ್ಯಾ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡುಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಿದುಷಿ ಬಿ ನಾಗಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೀಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿತರು. ಈಗ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಲಾ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನೀಲಾ ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗನಾಥ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃದಂಗವನ್ನೂ ಕಲಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವರಗೆ 250 ತನಿ ಕಛೇರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಇವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಭವನದಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಮದ್ರಾಸ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ತನಕ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿದೇಶಗಳ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನುಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮ್ಯಾಂಡೋಲಿನ್ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶಶಾಂಕ್ ಅವರ ನಂತರ ಮದ್ರಾಸ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನುಡಿಸಿರುವ ಅತಿ ಕಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದನೆಂದರೆ ರಮಣ ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಬಹುಮಾನವೂ ಇವರ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಗಾನ ಸಭೆಯ ಈಮನಿ ಶಂಕರಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣ ರವೀಂದ್ರನ್ ಎಂಡೋಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಭ್ರಮರಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನ ಪ್ರೊ. ಜಿ ಟಿ ನಾರಾಯಣ ರಾವ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ನಾರದ ಗಾನ ಸಭೆಯ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಲಿತಾ ಪದ್ಮನಾಭನ್ ಎಂಡೋಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಮುಂತಾದವು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅವರ ಮುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿರುವ ಗರಿಗಳು.
